It's a scary season alright, but 'Kalavathi' is expected to pack oomph and style as well. Sundar C's `Chandrakala' was a horror-comedy that went on to get audience's laurels in Telugu as much as in Tamil. Aranmanai 2, the film's sequel, is set for release on Jan 29 in Telugu.
The film stars Siddharth, Trisha, Sundar C, Hansika Motwani, Poonam Bajwa, Soori and others. Hiphop Tamizha has composed the music.
It is one dubbed horror-comedy that is being released on a huge scale in Telugu. With the makers already making what is called as "table profit", there are positive vibes going for 'Kalavathi'.
The bungalow set worth Rs. 4 cr is touted to be a major highlight. Sundar C is a sure-shot hit director who has worked with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal.
Moreover, this film marks the return of Siddharth, who hasn't had a hit in Telugu since 'Love Failure' in 2012.
