Almost all the lyricists of Kannada cinema have become directors except Jayanth Kaikini. K Kalyan as lyricist and music director is a proved Love Poet` (Prema Kavi) is taking up direction. He was supposed to take up Ambegalu` for producer BK Srinivas in 2014.

This new film K Kalyan top ranking lyricist, music director and extending good gesture on every year birthday on January 1 has named his film as Watchman` and releasing audio of the film soon. Story, screenplay, lyrics, music and direction by Kalyan, this Watchman is produced by AJ Manoj Kumar Kembathmki.
