Post the success of 'Mankatha', it was widely rumoured that director Venkat Prabhu would do a multi-starrer with Ajith and Simbu on-board, that is to say the Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit 'Race'. However these were rubbished as rumours.

Now Kamal and Venkat Prabhu had met and this meeting that was earlier rumoured to be a casual one seems to be more than that for birdies reveal that Venkat Prabhu narrated a brief gist of a script to Kamal who showed keen interest.

The script is said to be a pucca commercial entertainer on the lines of 'Sakalakala Vallavan' and if all goes well, it will go on floors after Kamal's 'Viswaroopam' about which he is tight-lipped.
