After completing the first schedule of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ in one of the biggest ships of the world, Kamal Haasan and other members of the film’s crew returned Chennai on Thursday morning.

“The reached Chennai by a flight after successfully shooting some important scenes in Italy and France. A song was also shot on Kamal and Trisha during the first schedule,” a source close to the unit says.

Produced by Udhyanidhi Stalin, 'Manmadhan Ambu' is being directed by K S Ravikumar, who had worked with Kamal earlier for 'Avvai Shanmugi', 'Thenali', 'Panchathanthiram' and 'Dasavatharam'.

"It is my privilege to work with Kamal again and I am also grateful to Udhayanidhi (Stalin) for bringing us together. Kamal would play the role of a romantic youth in the film and there wouldn't be any special get-ups for him," says the director. Madhavan is also paying a crucial role in this movie.
