Hold your horses people, it’s nothing related to politics…

Our film Industry is arranging for a grand admiration fête to honour the CM of Tamil Nadu for his generosity over the film fraternity. And Kamal Haasan will be acting in a play that was written by CM M. Karunanidhi. And the notable point here is that, Kamal has not acted in any stage plays till now.

In fact this play is said to be even special as it is an extract from a film called ‘Raja Rani’ that has Sivaji Ganesan-Padmini in the lead. The film has a small drama of Socrates in that and this is what Kamal will be performing on the stage. Ulaganayagan will be using the same dialogues penned by CM M. Karunanidhi without any changes, say the sources.

The celebration is scheduled to happen on Feb 6 in Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai.
