Legendary actor Kamal Haasan entered the Twitter space on the 68th Republic Day of India. He has been active in the micro blogging site ever since unlike his long time friend and professional rival Rajinikanth who comes to Twitter only on special occasions and to pay final tribute to the death of people he admires.

With more than 650,000 followers in just a few days Kamal Haasan even started tweeting in Tamil as some of his followers in Twitter requested for the same.

Today he wrote a tweet appreciating Vetrimaran after watching the young filmmaker's 'Visaranai' which will be hitting the screens on February 5 for the local audience. Initially he had mentioned the name as Manimaran instead of Vetrimaran by mistake. When Twitterati pointed about this mistake, the star was quick to oblige and corrected the tweet.

Even in his yesterday's tweet which was also his first Tamil tweet referring to his daughter Shruthi Haasan becoming taller than him, he had put the Tamil word Serum with a question mark at the end. In a separate tweet he clarified that it should have been Serumo and not Serum , stating that it was a typo by his keyboard.

However the veteran star also honestly confessed that the Vetrimaran-Manimaran goof up was not the fault of his keyboard and it was his mistake.
