He is known as the Lokanayakudu of the southern circuit and today ie 12th August is the most unforgettable day for him. He is none other than Kamal Haasan and the date is special because it marks the completion of 50 years for Kamal in the film industry.

It was in the year 1960 when Kamal made his debut as a child artiste with the Tamil film ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ and from then on, there was no turning back.

There is news that a grand celebration is currently on the cards and this would be organized by his fans association.

If all goes well, then even the chief ministers of all the four states of southern India would be invited to be a part of this historic moment.
