Ace director N.Linguswamy`s Thirupathi Brothers is facing tough times after Anjaan` and Uttama Villain` flopped at the box office. Linguswamy is struggling to release his films Rajini Murugan` and Idam Porul Yaeval` which are both ready. Kamal had promised to do a medium budget film for Thirupathy Brothers with the view of bailing them out of the recent misfortunes.

Now sources reveal that the Ulaganayagan has decided to hand over his cop thriller Thoongavanam` to Linguswamy as this would save a lot of time and the director will find immediate relief. Official confirmation is expected soon and it is really good news that a production house which has given so many quality films is going to make a comeback sooner than later.
