It is now more or less certain that Kamal Haasan is going to enter  the political arena sooner rather than later.  Thirunavukkarasar and Nagma from the Congress party and S.Ve Shekar from the BJP have recently met the Ulaganayagan fuelling speculations that both the national parties are wooing him.

Political analysts are of the opinion that Kamal is drawn towards communism, which is evident in his outlook and speeches.  The celebrated actor recently had a lunch meeting with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and unconfirmed sources claim that his future political strategy was discussed.  A news started doing the rounds that Kamal will now take part and deliver a speech in a Communist Conference on Religious Intolerance  to be held in Kozhikode, Kerala  which will be presided over by Pinarayi Vijayan and the Marxist Communist Party of Kerala, leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on the 16th of September.

However Kamal has denied being asked to take part in the conference and he has stated " Embarrassing. Was not asked for Calicut meeting with Kerala CM. I am at Bigg boss all saturdays till Oct. Best wishes for the function. "
