'Kattappa' Sathyaraj's measured apology to the people of Karnataka for the comments he made many years ago in the wake of Cauvery dispute, has received a token of appreciation from Universal Star Kamal Haasan.

Taking to Twitter, Kamal has appreciated Sathyaraj for maintaining rationality in a troubled environment. The 'Vishwaroopam-2' has invoked the famous dialogue he had written for his 2004 film 'Virumaandi' ('Pothuraj' in Telugu) to praise Sathyaraj's response to the entire issue.

"One who knows forgiving is a human. One who knows tendering apology is a great human," the translation of Kamal's Tamil-language tweet goes.
