Kamal Haasan and Prabhu back with 'Vettri Vizha'

A new trend has started in Kollywood, in which producers of classic films remaster them using modern technology and re-releasing in theaters to the delight of fans of the stars and the movies. Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan's 'Karnan', 'Veerapandiya Kattabomman' and 'Paasa Malar' re-released digitally finding a wide audience.

Recently Superstar Rajinikanth`s cult classic 'Baashaa' premiered digitally and those who saw it are going gaga over it. Sivaji Productions have decided to digitize their 1989 super hit 'Vettri Vizha' directed by Prathap Pothen starring Kamal Haasan, Prabhu, Amala, Khushbu and Sasikala. The espionage thriller that had hit songs from Ilayaraja is expected to release soon.
