Actor Kamal Haasan's sister-in-law Geethamani has passed away last evening. She was 73 when she breathed her last.

Geethamani is survived by her husband Chandra Haasan (elder brother of Kamal Haasan). son Nirmal Mohan and daughter Anu Haasan.

The final rites are expectedl take place in Besant Nagar crematorium at around 4 pm today (January 6).
