Director N. Lingusamy who has been involved in bringing many novel films to the Tamil audiences like Paiyaa`, Vettai`, Vazhakku Enn 18/9`, Kumki`, Ivan Veramathiri`, Anjaan` and Uttama Villain while Idam Porul Eval` and Rajini Murugan` are awaiting release. The directors production house Thirupathi Brothers has recently been embroiled in financial issues which caused the delay in the release of Uttama Villain`

Sources in the production house revealed that Kamal Haasan had sent a letter of assurance from Dubai that he will make a film for Thirupathi Brothers` on a first copy basis for Rupees thirty crores. This has come as a huge relief for all concerned and the details about the new film`s director and cast and crew will be out shortly.
