As Indiaglitz has reported yesterday Kamal Haasan has put off 'Appa Amma Vilaiyattu' the film which was supposed to mark the reentry of yesteryear heroine Amala Akkineni in Tamil.

The legendary actor has confirmed the same in his interview to a leading English daily today. He has also spoken about his next project.

Kamal will be acting in film that will be directed by T.K.Rajeev Kumar of 'Chanakyan' fame. He has written the script and dialogues for this film which will be about father-daughter relationship and the star's elder daughter Shruti Haasan will be acting as his daughter in this film. The film is also touted to have Ramya Krishnan as Kamal's wife but there is no official confirmation on this as yet. This film will go on floors in April as Shruti needed time to finish her prior commitments.

Kamal also revealed that he is simultaneously working on the script of an action entertainer which will be directed by his erstwhile associate and 'Thoongavanam' director Rajesh.M.Selva.
