Yesterday Kochadiiyaan’s audio in Tamil and Telugu were launched along with Tamil and Hindi trailer. After the event remarkable grandeur and historic fanfare, the film’s director and the superstars’s daughter Soundharya Rajnikanth Ashwin met the press which was held in a separate venue.

The debutante director handled a few controversial questions without losing her cool and composure.

When a reporter pointed to the excessive delay in making the film which has taken away more than two years of Superstar’s career, Soundharya said that it was the Motion capture technology that required this long time and she recalled that she has already explained this.

When someone asked the reason for not inviting her father’s good friend actor Kamalhassan, while celebrities from other states like Shahrukh Khan were invited, soundharya said that she was eager to invite the Ulaganayagan but the star could not make it as he was busy with the shoot of Uthama Villain.

Another question was about veteran lyricist Vaali’s name coming after the name of Viaramuthu in the film's Credits list. For this, Soundharya answered that Vaali sir has written only one song while Vairamuthu has written all the others. That’s why Vairmauthu’s name was given the first preference.

When a reporter pointed out that Vaali was the senior and his name should have come at first, Soundhary repeated the same answer.
