An interesting connection between Kamal's 'Thoongavanam' and Vijay's 'Yohan Adhyayam Ondru'

As we had reported earlier actor Kamal Haasan`s upcoming film Thoongavanam` which is presently in post-production stage is the official remake of the French film Sleepless Night`. The original film had actor Tomer Sisley in an important role.

The same actor had earlier acted in a 2008 French film Largo Winch`. This film was supposed to be remade in Tamil as Yohan Adhyayam Ondru` by director Gautham Menon with Vijay in lead role. The remake idea was, however dropped after initial promotions.

That comes as an interesting connection between the Ulaganayagan` and Ilayathalapathy`.
