The shooting of Kamal Haasan's magnum opus 'Viswaroopam', that kick-started on Monday last week, is going on at a steady pace in Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), where a mammoth set has been erected.

"After completing this schedule, Kamal and select crew members of Viswaroopam will pack their bags off to Jordan, where a major part of the film will be shot. If all goes well, Ansuhka may also join the team during their Jordan trip," circles close to the unit say.

Meanwhile, Kamal has decided to do the computer graphics (CG) work along with the shooting, so that a lot of time will be saved. "A team of software experts are working with the Ulaganayagan to accomplish the task," according to sources.

Directed by Kamal himself, 'Viswaroopam' was on the cards for a long time. Initially, the project was to be helmed by Selvaraghavan. However, Kamal occupied the driving seat after the director walked out of the film.
