Rumors of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu fame Kamalini Mukherjee entering wedlock spread thick and fast on Wednesday in Kollywood and Tollywood.

The young girl from Bengal, who played Kamal Haasan's wife in the recent release Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu was the centre of attraction on Wednesday after a section of press carried reports that Kamalini has married secretly.

However when contacted, the actress clarified that those reports were baseless.

Kamalini, who acted in movies including Godavari and Anand in Telugu, said, 'It was a canard spread by a few who are working against me. I will continue to act and entertain people.'

Kamalini also denied reports that she was demanding a huge sum as remuneration to work in Tamil and Telugu movies.
