Now that he is no more part of Bharathiraja's 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum' and with his directorial venture 'Aadhi Bhagavan' getting delayed, Ameer seems to be making some smart moves. The director is planning a film with Kamal Haasan.

"Sometime back Kamal Haasan and I discussed about working together. But things could not materialize as we both became busy with our respective projects. I am now planning to do a movie with him," says the filmmaker.

Ameer is a big admirer of Kamal and even wanted to work an assistant director to the Ulaganayagan. Likewise, Kamal has appreciated Ameer's movies a lot, especially the National Award winning 'Paruthiveeran'.

The 'Mounam Pesiyadhey' maker is hoping to release 'Aadhi Bhagavan', starring 'Jayam' Ravi in the lead role, by June. "Around that time, Kamal will also finish Viswaroopam. I will soon meet him to discuss our project”, he signs off.
