Kanaka is back in the hunt

Remember Kanaka, the daughter of yesteryear actress Devika dominated the Tamil screen a decade ago.

She was part of several blockbusters including Karakattakaran and Rajinikanth's Adhisaya Piravi. However she chose to quit Tamil film to concentrate on her personal life.

After a long gap, she is tipped to make a comeback in Tamil cinema.

Kanaka is reportedly playing a prominent role in Babu Ganesh's next film titled Nadigai. The movie features Thejashri in the lead role.

The movie is about the travails of heroines in contemporary cinema. Kanaka is playing a prominent role in the movie and has more scope to perform.
