Actress Kanika, who made her debut in Five Star is playing one of the heroines opposite Ajith in Godfather.

The movie stars Ajith in three roles.

While actress Asin plays one heroine in the movie, Kanika, who acted in director K S Ravikumar's last venture Eithree is said to be playing an important role in Godfather.

In that sense, Ravikumar himself has been a bit of a godfather for Kanika.

The highlight of the movie is its music as A R Rehman returns to Tamil after a long gap.
