Title – Lakshminarayana Prapanchane Bere, Producer – Vinayaprasad, Direction – Vinayaprasad, Music, Story, Screenplay – Jyothiprakash Atre, Cinematography – JG Krishna,  Cast – Vinayaprasad, Manjunath Hegde, Prathama Prasad, Deepu, Jyothiprakash and others.

A richly talented actress of hundreds of films and television serials Vinayaprasad has made a sterling debut as director with a very touching tale and convincing narration well supported by key actors.

In the making of this film in limited time and budget Vinayaprasad has showed her excellence. Now the film is release she wins with very good family subject. There are limited number of characters and locations. The emotions of couple Vinayaprasad and Manjunath Hegde is sure to get some awards for glorious performance.

It is like a competition in performance between Manjunath Hegde and Vinayaprasad. As wife Lakshmi is depressed with her son settled in abroad. She is not able to overcome it. Narayana wants Lakshmi to be safe and steady in her mindset. To keep Lakshmi in good mood, Narayan enacts roles of a few personalities like Raavan, Karna, Hanuman, Gabbar Singh etc. The change of mindset of husband suddenly in life is now a worry for Lakshmi. She seeks the guidance of a psychiatrist. Nothing goes in right direction to see her husband in normal condition.

What next in the film? You have to watch this film for touching and powerful performance in the climax of this couple family.

Terrific acting and dialogue delivery has come from Manjunath Hegde. He reminds some of the strong veteran actors. He could be a parallel to Achyuth Rao in performance. His close up shots with fine dialogue delivery modulations is a treat to watch. Vinayaprasad as a director and actress scores distinction. She is always best when it comes to emotional performance. The only deserved thing for this film was her control on psychiatrist character (Jyothi Prakash Atre).

Jyothi Prakash Atre as a writer is wonderful. His style of narration keeping the audience guessing is a good method to family subject cinema LNPB.

Krishna JG as cameraman bringing in lot of close up and wide angle shots steals some more marks. Rajesh Krishna melodious song is another top support to the film.

When life is in emotional jeopardy, how you have to adjust and live – Vinayaprasad has given a good way. It is not only ‘Better half’ – it is best for the spouse.

Rating – 4/5
