The second consecutive week the Kannada audiences are fed with full length action extravaganza. Last week it was `Yee Shathamanadha Veera Madhakari' and this week `Kannadadha Kiran Bedi' is no different in concept and the measurement of action feast.

A thief in Sudeep (double role) starring last week film turn cop ala `Don' style and it is almost similar in this week release. A thief Bellary Bagyalakshmi poses as Kiran Bedi and finish off the unfinished work of upright cop in the ditto style of `Yee Shathamanadha Veera Madhakari'.

Yet actress Malashri scores over Sudeep for her ability, brisk performance, punching dialogues and glorious takings of `Kannadadha Kiran Bedi' are far better. The cinematography, music is extremely good from KM Vishnuvardhana and Hamsalekha respectively. `Kannadadha Kiran Bedi' also has sentiments, comedy and lovely re-recording done takes up the quality of the film and entertainment values.

Honest constable (played by Srinivasamurthy) names her daughter as Kiran Bedi and sacrifices extremely to bring her up as IPS officer. To the wish and need Kiran Bedi (Malashri) shows exemplary courage and intelligence and she is a nightmare for anti social elements like Bhoopathy, Mobile Nachappa, D'Souza, Naga, Vickey, Muni and others who are controlling the government. All the 224 MLA's of Karnataka and 29 MP's are under my feat says Bhoopathy to Kiran Bedi who chalks out master plan to destabilize the gang. Kiran Bedi is given extraordinary powers yet the crooks are successful in moving her from Bangalore to Bellary when Bhoopathy enrage reaches peak for the death of his son Vickey that is master minded by Kiran Bedi. On the arrival of Kiran Bedi to Bellary at the instance of attending the court case she receives array of villains pouncing on her. She wages a futile battle. The crooks kill Kiran Bedi and hand over the ash to her father a constable. All these developments take place in front of Kiran Bedi's father.

All is not over. The constable father of Kiran Bedi sees Bellary Bhagyalakshmi (Malashri again) and is shocked for the similar looks she possess of his daughter. Bellary Bhagyalakshmi is a thief and she is notorious. She can take any challenge and her intention in life is to earn money. Knowing the demand of Bhagyalakshmi the constable brings her to Bangalore to pretend as Kiran Bedi the IPS officer. Although there are some hiccups for Bhagyalakshmi to cope up she transform when the people express the gratitude for her past work.

Now it is the duty of Bhoopathy and gang to prove that Bhagyalakshmi is not Kiran Bedi. As fake Kiran Bedi Bhagyalakshmi put the Bhoopathy gang in all sorts of trouble bring all of them to the court hall. It is in this place although Kiran Bedi is proved that she is duplicate and constable is questioned the Bhoopathy gang agree that they have killed Kiran Bedi in Bellary as the efficient lawyer uses the tricks.

Bellary Bhagyalakshmi and constable Srinivasamurthy good intention is unearthed. They are imprisoned for six months simple punishment. After come back from prison Bhagyalakshmi takes up IPS course and becomes a cop.

Malashri handling both the roles is very attractive as Kiran Bedi. She has that agile look, walk and mannerisms are absolutely fabulous. The dubbing done to her role and dialogues gets applaud for her every now and then in the cinema halls. She has to cut down her stoutness.

Rangayana Raghu steals in the comedy department while this is emotional best from veteran Srinivasamurthy. Ashish Vidyarthi is tolerable in this film. Malashri and Ramu's daughter Baby Ananya looks very sweet in her short presence.

Dialogue writer Ranganath has penned very powerful dialogues for the cop role and villain gangs too. Hamsaleka opening song Thaayi Thandhe Namma Desha.and Hen Chirathe..in the background are very well written for the circumstances.

The camera work for a full length action film is not an easy job. KM Vishnuvardhana has done lot of acrobatics to store the chilling and mind blowing action scenes.

Action is the hall mark of this cinema.
