When many celebrities in film world other than the actors try hard to appear before the camera, here is one who doesn’t want to act even after a doing good role in a mega movie. Lyricist Kapilan, who acts as himself in ‘Dasavatharam’, is determined not to act in any other film.

Reason? Concentrating on both fields, according to him, could dilute his involvement in writing. He also feels that if his efforts to establish himself as an actor fail, his career as a lyricist too might get affected. So he wants to concentrate on his first love, i.e., writing.

Kapilan, who is quite happy that his songs in ‘Anjathey’ (‘Kaththaazha Kannala’ and ‘Kannadasan Karaikudi’) have become hit, wants to write all the songs in a movie like the senior lyricist Vairamuthu. He sincerely feels that such a chance would ensure more involvement in a film. This, he believes, will bring the best out of him.
