The hoopla surrounding Baahubali before it`s release has been unprecedented. Rajamouli, who already has a good market in South, eyed International market for greener pastures. He pulled all strings and the icing on the cake was having Karan Johar on board. The B-Town filmmaker was able to push the film to the masses and get the best possible result.

Rajamouli was able to leverage on Karan`s popularity and was able to make the epic drama the cynosure of all eyes. Even the B-Town celebs could not stop raving about the Baahubali. Today, if Baahubali was able to make it to 100 cr, ascribe it to Karan Johar`s ability to use his clout and promote the film on all the right platforms.
