'Heroine' is progressing well and Madhur Bhandarkar can well consider himself to be second time lucky as he had suffered an aborted shoot with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the same film early this year. Now with Kareena Kapoor giving her full time, energy and dedication into living the coveted, it is pretty much akin to destiny playing a major role with the film falling in her lap.

While for Kareena the film is indeed absolutely special, one wonders that since the film had earlier started with Aishwarya, was it a little uncomfortable for her to give a nod of approval when it eventually came her way?

"See, actors do a film on the basis of a script that comes their way instead of thinking about whether it had reached another actor is doing or not," Kareena makes a stern statement here, "Also, let's not forget that Madhur has offered this film first to me as good as one and a half years ago. When I couldn't do it, he went ahead with someone else. Now for whatever reasons it didn’t work out for me, there is no role that I have to play. The fact that Madhur came to me again and I am doing it because it is a great film is all that matters."

Well said, lady!
