Although Madhur Bhandarkar's most ambitious project 'Heroine' is laying still on the shelf, the movie is favourite among the gossip circles. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's exit from the project not only made people to think of suitable actresses' list for it but they also decided the remuneration for the eligible lady.

Of late talks were going on about the fee that Kareena Kapoor will get for 'Heroine'. According to an article carried by a popular newspaper recently, the actress had demanded a huge amount of 10 crore of the movie, however, after negotiation settled for 8 crores - an amount which has not been bagged by any actress in B-town till now.

After the project changed hands from Kareena to Aishwarya, then Priyanka Chopra to Vidya Balan, 'Heroine' alleged to have fallen into the hands of Kareena, the initial choice for the movie.

All said and done; but these talks are not going down well within the production house, UTV. The banner is reportedly upset with the speculations and released an official letter clarifying on the same.

The statement read thus - "We would like to clarify that no casting has been finalised for Heroine at all. We further wish to state that no financial terms have been agreed upon and definitely not even remotely close to the figures quoted in the newspaper article."
