Karthi unveils new Theatre Owners' Association

Karthi Sivakumar on Monday evening formally inaugurated the Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, North Arcot, South Arcot and Pondichery Theatre Owners' Association, at a function in Chennai attended by theatre owners from all over Tamil Nadu.

Speaking on the occasion, the actor wished all the best to the new association, stating that he always viewed theatre owners like his family members. "They have been giving me enormous support right from Paruthi Veeran days," he said.

Patron of the association Annamalai said the new organization was being started with the full support of the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association. "This is not against anyone. But to work for the betterment of theatre owners in the northern districts, including Chennai," he said.

It was announced that Panneerselvam, who is currently the general secretary of Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association, will be the president of the new organization. Hari Govind will be the general secretary, Dinesh secretary and Ramanathan treasurer.
