Karthi's 'Madras' is getting delayed because...

Director Ranjith has proven his mettle with 'Attakathi' and impressed everyone with the trailer of 'Madras'. The release of the movie has kept getting postponed for various reasons since July. The success of 'VIP' & 'Sathuranga Vettai' has made the producer to re-think the dates to release the movie and targeted Aug 29th. But it seems the movie will be delayed because of Censor Board's certification.

The regional Censor Board in Chennai got only 7 people on board and it is not possible for them to certify lots of movies. 'Anjaan' & 'Aindham Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhya Sigamani' has flown to Mumbai to the certification done, and more or less 'Madras' too will follow them very soon. Catherine Teresa is making her debut in Tamil movies & Santosh Narayan's music has already topped the charts.
