Katrina out, Asin in - for Kamal Haasan's film?

It was earlier reported that Katrina Kaif has been considered to play the female lead in Shankar’s multi-lingual with Kamal Haasan (Tamil), Mohanlal (Malayalam) and Prabhas (Telugu). But grapevine is now abuzz that the filmmaker is now toying with the idea of casting Asin as the lead lady in this magnum opus!

The actress was seen cozying up with Shankar and ARR at a high profile event in Mumbai and ever since rumour mills have been working overtime suggesting Asin has bagged this prestigious venture.

A fact also mentioned earlier - Jackie Chan (who is a good friend of the producer Aascar Ravichandran) is touted to play a pivotal role in this multi-lingual project.
