Keerthy who is born to a Tamil mother and Malayali father, speaks fluent Tamil and has been dubbing on her own for her films. 'Remo' is a romantic comedy and she has played a strong heroine character in this film.

'Remo' has been produced by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and produced on a grand scale by RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner. The film is all set to hit the screens on October 7, 2016.
