This is the season for girls from God's own Country to make waves in Tamil cinema. Following the likes of Asin and Nayantara making it very big in Tamil films, the craze for Malayalee girls seems to be hitting fever pitch.

Nayantara has established her presence rather strongly in Kollywood being part of several blockbusters. Asin is flying high and she is now ready to rule the roost in even Bollywood.

Navya Nair is not far behind as she is committed to act in over four films in Tamil filmdom. Udhayathara is fast rising up the ladder. Tamil Cinema will probably have one more in Udhayathara from the neighboring state and she appears to have it in her to make it big. Padmapriya is doing realistic portrayals in Kollywood.

Noted Malayalam actress Meera Nandan is set to enter Tamil filmdom. The young girl, who shot to fame with 'Mulla', has been cast opposite 'Kallori'-fame Akhil in 'Valmiki', to be directed by Ananthanarayanan.

Since these girls have an exposure to realistic cinema, their knowledge about the dynamics in south Indian film industry is good, say a section of directors.
