Kamal Hassan's "Vsihwaroopam" is to be released in Kerala on January 25th. The Kerala Theater Federation announced that they won't be screening "Vishwaroopam".

Kamal spoke on a Malayalam channel regarding this and was offended with the behavior and attitude of the A class theater owners and their refusal to screen his film. He went on to say that, it didn't matter, he would still release his film in B and C class theaters. Kamal does not know why they are opposing suddenly and said that the DTH release will happen as planned in February. Meanwhile, the Kerala state government owned theaters are on Kamal's side and will be screening "Vishwaroopam".
