KGF actors & technicians are like soldiers: Yash

The pre-release event of 'KGF' was held on Sunday. SS Rajamouli attended it as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Sandalwood actor Yash, the multi-lingual's promising male lead, delivered a heartfelt speech.

"Wherever you go, you have to respect that land, its culture. Only then can you be a real person. I expect this from others when they visit my State. And I practice what I believe. So, I will speak in Telugu today," Yash began saying.

"My technicians who have worked on 'KGF' are the best in the business. They are hard-working and have all the qualities of successful technicians. I have to tell a short story. A farmer used to win awards continuously for growing the best corn crop year after year. One day, TV channels went to interview him to know what is his secret. He shared the secret about his best-quality seeds and announced that he would be distributing them to his neighbours. When the media quizzed him if he wouldn't stand to lose when other farmers start giving him competition, the farmer said that if neighbouring farmers don't use the right seed, insects could destroy their crop and also affect his own crop. I am telling this because good films made by any industry have to be encouraged for one's own good. When Rajamouli garu made 'Baahubali', people in Karnataka made it a big hit because it was a masterpiece. There should be no differences between different film industries. We all belong to Indian cinema," Yash said.

'KGF' has got a universal concept, the actor added. "Credit goes to director Prashanth Neel. He is a shy person. He doesn't speak much. I am feeling guilty because everytime only I am talking about his product. He will continue to do very good films in future," Yash continued.

Yash recalled that Sobhu Yarlagadda (producer of 'Baahubali') had first produced his TV serial years ago.

"We are like soldiers who will get respect for making this movie whether or not we win," Yash signed off.
