Yeh bhi gaya... These days several of B-town movies are failing to cross our neighbouring borders... ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and many others had problems in getting entry into Pakistan. And latest is the Action King Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khiladi 786’.

‘Khiladi 786’ is reported to have not pleased the Pakistani censor board and they have banned the film’s release in their country.

Reason - The title of the film which includes the number 786, which in fact has a very sacred significance to the Muslims and the censor board feel that this might hurt their religious sentiments.

The board has even pulled down the film’s advertisement banners and stopped the trailers being showed in their cinema halls and television.

"The appearance of banners for the film in Rawalpindi and other areas was brought to my notice and I asked the City District Government Rawalpindi to remove all of them," quoted Raja Mustafa Haider, the Censor Board Chairman, in an interview.

However the final decision is yet to be made on the release of ‘Khiladi 786’ and the board is said to come on a conclusion only after watching the film.

Apparently ‘Khiladi 786’ might also release with little alteration in the title - that is the number 786 might get dropped before being released on big screens.
