Kireedom set for a release on 1 May coinciding with Ajith's birthday, the movie marks the return of veteran producer Balaji to the big screen.

Trisha plays Ajith's heroine, while Rajkiran plays Ajith's father in the movie.

A debutant Vijay is wielding the megaphone. He says, "Working with a seasoned actor like Ajith for my debut film is a great experience. He was very co-operative and has contributed his best. His dedication and commitment to excel in the role deserves special mention."

"G V Prakash's music is another highlight," he adds.
