Once again a film on life sketch of dreaded smuggler, poacher and killer Veerappan is taken up in Kannada. It was Devaraj who played the Veerappan role in the 1990’s that got a state award for producer Chandulal Jain. Now till the death and aftermath of it of Veerappan has interested ‘Cyanide’ director AMR Ramesh. In the film titled as ‘Attahasa’ Kishore the screen stunner is playing the role of Veerappan this time. Kishore has made special preparations in the make up to give justice to the film.

While AMR Ramesh is pinning hopes on action king Arjun for super cop role of Vijaykumar who encountered Veerappan, he is looking for a right role of Dr Rajakumar the icon of Kannada cinema who was abducted and kept in the dense forest for 108 days by Veerappan.

Kishore knows pretty well the character he is playing is completely negative in the eyes of Kannadigas. I am considering this as just a role and nothing above it he says. I have liked the effort made by director AMR Ramesh is bringing this film on the silver screen. The chances of glorifying and documentary on Veerappan are looked seriously. Allowing surfacing a few facts and telling the people the truth are the main intentions of this film says Kishore.
