There has been intense competition for the Telugu rights of Rajinikanth's forthcoming film, Kochadaiyaan. The news is that Lakshmi Ganapathi Films got it lucky to lay its hands on the film’s dubbed version.

Slated to be released on November 13, the film is being directed by Soundarya Ashwin. This period film, it is anticipated, will be as big a craze in Andhra Pradesh as it is going to be in Tamil Nadu. Against this backdrop, the bagging of this film is surely a matter of pride for Lakshmi Ganapathi.

The film stars Sarathkumar, while Deepika Padukone plays the female lead. Shobana is making a proud comeback.
