It's known that Kollywood is going to have its own 'Baahubali'. Titled as 'Sangamithra', this film belongs to the genre of fantasy historical, directed by Sundar C. Said to star Jayam Ravi and Arya as heroes, it has music by none other than AR Rahman himself. The pre-production work for the mega budget flick (said to be costing upwards of Rs. 350 Cr) is underway, with art director Sabu Cyril already constructing massive sets in Hyderabad.

The latest news is that the director has approached Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha to play the two leading ladies. We learn that the star heroines are most likely to sign on the dotted line.
