Kollywood never gets tired of importing beauty queens.
It brought in sushmita Sen. Then it was Aishwarya rai. Then Lara Dutta. Then Priyanka Chopra.
The list is almost endless.
And joining this seemingly never-ending roster now is Miss Kolkata.
Deepthisree, a Miss Kolkata last year, will be making her debut in a Tamil movie titled Perisu.
Debutant GK will be directing the movie.
Playing the hero would be Mohan Kumar, who acted in Ayodhya recently.
Noted textile manufacturers from Tirupur is venturing to produce a movie in Kollywod with Perisu.
For Deepthisree this is a baptism by fire. Though she does not know the language, she is confident that she can come out on tops.
Her acting talent is, however, untested.
But who said beauty queens need to act.
