Karthi starrer 'Komban' was expected to hit screens all over this Pongal, but has been officially given a release date confirmation by Studio Green only now. Taking to their official social networking page, they posted that 'Komban' will be releasing on April 2, 2015.

Post-Madras success, 'Komban' will have Lakshmi Menon opposite Karthi along with 'Super' Subbarayan, 'Kovai' Sarala, Karunas, Thambi Ramaiah and others. Praveen K. L has done the editing with R. Velraj handling the cinematography.

This will be the third time G. V. Prakash has scored for a Karthi movie. Prior to 'Komban', GVP has collaborated for 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and 'Saguni'. It must be noted that Shreya Ghoshal has lent her voice for a song.

The movie looks good with such a good big team. We're waiting for the 'Komban' to come charging at us come April. What about you? Are you excited?
