Director Srinu Vaitla has been going through turmoil in professional and personal front. A day after his name has hit the headlines for allegedly harassing his wife Roopa Vaitla, the director has landed in yet another controversy. Ace writer Kona Venkat is mulling over filing a defamation case against Srinu Vaitla pertaining to the story issue of their recent outing Bruce Lee. The writer alleged that Vaitla has credited his name to the story of Bruce Lee without using his original script. He was unhappy that his script was completely tweaked by the director, says reports.

Buzz is that Kona is in talks with a High Court advocate and is likely to file a defamation suit against Vaitla for Rs 10 crore and demand a public apology from the director. Those in the know say Kona is planning to upload the original script of Bruce Lee online so that the fans of Ram Charan and the movie-buffs could figure out the actual difference between the original and tweaked scripts. It is being speculated that producer DVV Danayya is expected to support Kona in the issue as he too received a bound script before the commencement of the project.
