Ace writer Kona Venkat is currently busy promoting his upcoming production Sankarabharanam. The film featuring Nikhil, Nanditha Raj and Anjali in lead roles is ready to hit the screens on December 4. The writer is also producing Saahasam Swasaga Sagipo starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. The film directed by Gautham Menon is poised for release in January.

Kona says he will continue producing films and write the script only if he will be included in the production. "I will write the film only if I will be included in the production. No matter who might be the hero, if they want me to write the script, they should make me the producer of their films."

Kona is also working on a story based on Hyderabad drug mafia. "Recently, I met a senior police official of the city and shocked to know that Hyderabad is one of the hubs for drug mafia. Hundreds of crores is changing hands for drugs," adds Kona.

Titled Powder, the film will go onto the sets early next year. Kona will direct and produce this film in association with Reliance Entertainments. More details are awaited.
