Koratala opens up on Mahesh's 'BAN'

For the first time in his career, Mahesh Babu is going to play a politician. In Koratala Siva's 'Bharat Ane Nenu', the superstar, it's now well-known, will be playing a Chief Minister in the movie.

The non-controversial director, whose characters hardly resemble real-life characters, has said that his movie doesn't have in mind any political outfit or personality. Moreover, 'BAN' is as much about family-based drama as it is about the political career of Bharat.

This was expected.

Even in 'Janatha Garage', it was less about environmental activism and more about family emotions. That's the way our films are, right or wrong.
