“Krrish”, starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra will have a worldwide release of Friday 23rd June. The film is being dubbed into Telugu and it is distributed by Hansa Pictures. Shiva Kumar and Sudarshan Theater Owner L.Lakshman Rao are the producers of this dubbed venture. The banner is Sudarshan Chakra Films.

One of the producers Shiva Kumar says, “The combination of Rakesh, Rajesh and Hrithik is a successful one. After “Kaho Na Pyar Hai”, and “Koi Mil Gaya” the father - son duo have teamed up for “Krrish”, having been an exhibitor for a long time, we wanted to expand into distribution and film production.

So, we thought dubbing “Krrish” would be the perfect launch pad for us. When it comes to entertaining children on the big screen, there are few heroes who have been successful, among them. Hrithik managed to grab the attention of the children with his performance in “Koi Mil Gaya”.

The fan following of Hrithik among the children grew by leaps and bounds after the release of “Koi Mil Gaya”. “Krrish”, is being offered as a sequel to “Koi Mil Gaya”. The shooting took place in Kulu-Manali in India and in Singapore. Apart from entertaining the children with his innocent performance, how he succeeds in the mission of saving the life of his beloved from the clutches of villains forms the major part of the film.

The film has been on a lavish budget. The film has been produced at par with Hollywood standards. Director Rakesh Roshan has left no stone unturned in making of the film, be it the action sequences or the graphics. The director has used nearly 200 imported cars to shoot the action sequences in the city of Singapore. For shooting this action sequences, he had to use the tallest cranes in the world. Hong Kong based choreographer Tony Ching, acclaimed for his work on House of Flying Daggers and hero, has choreographed the action sequences. U.S.A Company that provided graphics to Hollywood Blockbusters like “Independence day”, “Godzilla”. And “Deep Blue Sea”, not only provided the graphics but also turned the film into a visual wonder”.

About hero Hrithik Roshan, “The producer says, he took action-training classes for six months from Singapore based action director. The high-rise buildings, rope walk and the running sequences between him and the horse in the film looks like they are all original not graphically done.

Heroine Priyanka Chopra’s performance stands out in the film. The audience will like the film, because it has Love, action, entertainment, and child sentiment”.
