Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani are all set to dole out a marathon entertainer. Kshetram, being directed by T Venu Gopal, is not your off-the-mark Jagapathi-Priyamani film. So it appears after listening its makers talk so much about their movie.

Kshetram is about a love story that brews between Shyam, who hails from Rayalaseema, and Priyamani, who lives in the North. The film turns interesting in the run up to the marriage between the two. The director says that the way the film takes a historical turn will come as an unexpected twist. The flashback episodes will stand out in the narrative, he believes.

Priyamani plays the character of Naga Penchalamma. You will see her performing karate, horse riding, sword and stick fights in the film. (If the grapevine is to be believed, she even did some tough action scenes on her own without using the body doubles!)

The film is produced by G Govindaraju. If Koti's music is up-to-the-mark, it would only help the film. The audio will be released by Aditya Music on Nov. 5.

Lyrics are by Suddala Ashokteja; dialogues are by Parachuri brothers.
