'KSY', 'Ambuli', 'MUK' make a mark

These are the days when things have become so tough that it's difficult for a film to complete even a two-week run in theatres. But 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi', 'Ambuli' and 'Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal' have completed 50 days today.

The Siddharth-Amala Paul starrer, directed by newcomer Balaji Mohan, is currently running in 13 cinema halls in Chennai alone. Produced by Siddharth himself, in association with Sasikanth and Nirav Shah, the film had music by Thaman S.

Tamil cinema's first stereoscopic 3D film, 'Ambuli' is helmed by Hari Shankar and Haresh Narayan. The thriller won the admiration of critics and the audience for trying something new. It is being shown in 11 theatres in Chennai.
