'Kumki' Vs 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'

Come December 14, the Kollywood box office will witness an interesting fight, with two much expected films hitting the screens.

Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' and Prabhu Solomon's 'Kumki' will see the light of the day on December 14 and both films are expected to vie for top screens in Tamil Nadu.

While 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' has Jiiva and Samantha in lead roles with music by Ilayaraja, 'Kumki' has Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead. Music for the movie is by D Imman.

Both are love stories, but in different backdrops. 'NEP' is set in urban milieu, while 'Kumki' has forest as its background.
