'Kunjaliyan' opens in 60 plus theatres

After the hit movie 'Beautiful', Jayasuriya's new flick 'Kunjaliyan' opens today at 60 plus centres. Directed by Saji Surendran who had created two successive hits with Jaysuriya in 'Ivar Vivahitharayaal' and 'Happy Husbands’, the new movie will be trying for an out and out comedy with much of the comedy artists of Mollywood.

'Kunjaliyan' will tell a story of an youth, the youngest brother of three sisters, who is pretty lazy but aims to become a rich man by hook or crook. Fondly called as 'Kunjaliyan' by his three brother-in-laws, he moves on to the Middle East in search of a job. But after some time comes back without any success in his jobs. But one of his close friends played by Suraj Venjaaramoodu, starts to create stories that this Kunjaliyan is a rich man now. Forced to donate ten lakhs to a local temple committee, the Kunjaliyan is now left to give life to all the stories that is being spread around him. Scripted by Krishna Poojappura, the movie will have music by M G Sreekumar. Ananya is the heroine of the movie.
