This WomenÂs Day, Kushboo has a reason to feel happy. For the outspoken actress has recently been honoured by a womenÂs magazine along with seven other achievers from versatile fields.
While Kushboo won the Women Achiever Award 2011 in Newsmaker category, others selected for the honour include Aruna Sairam (Music), Anita Nair (Literature), Anju Bobby George (Sports), Malavika Sarukkai (Performing Arts), Parvathy Omanakuttan (Fashion), Vidya Reddy and Nancy Veronica (Social Work), and Saina Nehwal (Newsmaker).
Happy about sharing the stage with veterans, Kushboo says, ÂIt is no doubt one of the proudest moments in the life. My thanks to the organisers for selecting me for the coveted honour.Â
Meanwhile, Sundar, KushbooÂs husband, too is all praise for her. ÂShe is the one who made me more responsible. I learnt a lot from her and I am in this position only because of Kushboo.Â
